Rockford IceHogs' Ville Pokka earns AHL All-Rookie Honors

Defenseman named among league's top first-year players. Chicago Blackhawks' prospect and Rockford IceHogs defenseman Ville Pokka was named to the American Hockey League All-Rookie Team for the 2014-15 season on Wednesday. Pokka was acquired in a trade that sent Nick Leddy to the New York Islanders on Oct. 4. Pokka has eight goals and 22 assists in 64 games with the IceHogs this season. He helped stabilize a blue-line group that lost all-stars Adam Clendening and T.J.
