Prospect watch: McNeill, Brennan shine in AHL All-Star Game

Here’s a look at how some of the Chicago Blackhawks’ prospects are doing throughout the world: Mark McNeill, forward, Rockford IceHogs (NCAA), drafted 1st round in 2011 McNeill, 21, scored three goals in the AHL All-Star Game on Monday. He has 12 goals, 11 assists and is a plus-9 in 31 games this season. T.J. Brennan, defenseman, Rockford IceHogs (AHL), acquired from Islanders in 2014 Brennan, 25, had a goal and three assists in the AHL All-Star Game.

Chicago Blackhawks prospects T.J. Brennan, Joakim Nordstrom named AHL All-Stars

Two IceHogs will head to Utica, N.Y. later this month Chicago Blackhawks prospects T.J. Brennan and Joakim Nordstrom have been selected to play for the Western Conference AHL All-Star Team at the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic, the AHL announced Tuesday. Brennan, 25, leads the Rockford IceHogs with 28 points and 21 assists. He is the reigning Eddie Shore Defenseman of the Year and earns his second nod to the All-Star Classic.
