From the NHL's official release: ENNIS, SUTER AND LUNDQVIST NAMED NHL ‘THREE STARS’ OF THE WEEK NEW YORK (Dec. 15, 2014) – Buffalo Sabres center Tyler Ennis, Minnesota Wild defenseman Ryan Suter and New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist have been named the NHL’s “Three Stars” for the week ending Dec. 14. FIRST STAR – TYLER ENNIS, C, BUFFALO SABRES Ennis shared second in the NHL with five points (1-4—5) in three outings, helping the Sabres (12-16-2, 26 points) post their third three-game winning streak of the season.

Matt Moulson led the Sabres to victory with a wonderful shot into a wide-open net. It's funny how opposite both of the Sabres goals were tonight, but they both counted the same. Tyler Ennis' highlight-reel goal in the first and Matt Moulson's open-net goal with one minute left in the game propelled the Sabres to a 2-1 victory.
