Fantasy Hockey Scouts Tyler Ennis got rammed into the boards by Simmonds last night and had to leave the game. It doesn't sound major but you just never know with head injuries. Devan Dubnyk took some friendly fire as Hartikainen ran into him last night and he left the game with a neck injury. Ladies and gentlemen, the National Hockey League. Outshot...Again The Sabres were outshot in this game 28-20. It wasn't the worst they've been outshot this season, but they only managed 20 shots in a game where Ilya Bryzgalov was giving up ...

Die By The Blade Last night, two incidents occurred in the Sabres game against the Rangers. Patrick Kaleta boarded Brad Richards, and received a five minute major and a game misconduct, while for boarding Tyler Ennis, Dan Girardi only received a two minute minor. Two infractions, different penalties assessed. Yes, there are differences in the two hits - Kaleta uses his stick while Girardi uses his shoulder, Richards was further from the boards than Ennis, Richards went in head first while Ennis went in face first. Kaleta will undoubtedly face a suspension of some kind, and should, but what about Girardi...
