2014 NHL Free Agency: Dallas Stars Sign Depth Forward Patrick Eaves

Stars add to the depth. The Dallas Stars continue shoring up the 2014-15 roster by signing winger Patrick Eaves. The 30 year old forward skated in 30 games last year between the Detroit Red Wings and Nashville Predators registering five points. He has 444 games to his name in the NHL with a career 146 points. The scoring has dried up lately, but earlier in his career he did break 30 points and has five 20 point seasons to his name.
