The Capitals won 5-4 in a tight game I have to admit, this was a game I was not really looking forward to recapping. I figured I’d be excited coming into the season after watching the Senators come within a goal of the Stanley Cup Finals, but watching this team’s defense corps without Erik Karlsson or Marc Methot wasn’t my metaphorical cup of tea.
