Cavaliers play through bizarre referee decisions to top Warriors 137-116 in Game 4

Last year the Cavs won Game 5 in Oakland, Game 6 in Cleveland and Game 7 in Oakland to erase a 3-1 deficit and beat the Golden State Warriors for the title. Can they do it again? That remains to be seen, but Cavs star LeBron James admitted after Friday’s 137-116 victory in Game 4 that he would be leaving Quicken Loans Arena feeling “stressed out.” “[We] keep doing this every year,” James said. “But listen, at the end of the...

Notes, quotes and observations after the Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors 137-116 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena. While ending the Warriors’ undefeated playoff run, the defending champion Cavs take a 3-1 deficit (the same as they faced a year ago) into Game 5 Monday at Oracle Arena. 1. First the question everyone wants answered: How could Draymond Green be ejected, and then not be ejected? 2. Draymond Green spouts off, says Cleveland fans "don't seem to be the sharpest people around"

What do you do after your team loses a pivotal close out game for the NBA championship? If you're Golden State forward Draymond Green, you insult the fans of your opponent. After the Cavaliers defeated the Warriors 137-116 in Game 4, Green said this of Cleveland fans: Draymond on crowd: I don't pay that much attention to anybody in Cleveland, honestly. They don't seem to be the sharpest people around. — Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) June 10, 2017 That's some tough talk from a player who almost got thrown out of Game 4. But because of some scorer's table shenanigans he was allowed...

NBA Finals: Cavaliers turn attention to Game 4 as Warriors aim for a series sweep

CLEVELAND: Within an hour after a tough loss on Wednesday in Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals, Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving faced the media feeling a little chilly. “I apologize if I’m shivering,” Irving said as sat on the podium. “I just got out of the cold tub. So don’t think I’m like getting sensitive on you guys. Just pretty cold.” Irving and LeBron James both gave valiant efforts, but the defending champion Cavs came up short in a 118-113 loss at Quicken Loans Arena to the Golden State Warriors, who are 15-0 in this years playoffs. Warriors 132, Cavs 113: Marla's 43 shots from Beyond the Arc on a juggernaut, help for LeBron

Notes, quotes and observations after the Cavaliers fell 132-113 to the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena. With the Warriors leading 2-0, the series moves to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4 Wednesday and Friday. 1. The “perfect roster” is not so perfect. 2. That was the assessment of Celtics coach Brad Stevens during the Eastern Conference finals. It was a nice compliment, especially considering the Cavs continued dominance of the overmatched East challengers. But against a team like the Warriors, who are loaded with firepower and play several levels above...
