Denver Nuggets InjuriesUp to the minute news on Denver Nuggets Injuries
Preseason projections put the Denver Nuggets in the pack of teams that would be fighting for one of the Western Conference’s final few playoff spots. Mother Nature, the mythical force Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle often refers to when discussing injuries, had other things on her mind. The Mavs don’t have time to feel sorry for the Nuggets, who have been hit as hard as any NBA team by the injury bug this season. But the visit to Denver for Wednesday’s game might at least remind the Mavs about how fortunate they’ve been this season.
LaMarcus Aldridge and Meyers Leonard return from injuries as the Blazers defeat the Nuggets.
Portland Trail Blazers power forward LaMarcus Aldridge (12) returns to the starting lineup after sitting out the past five games with a groin injury. Even without their All-Star in the lineup, the Portland Trail Blazers have gone 4-1.
LaMarcus Aldridge (groin) went through a full practice today. His availability for tomorrow’s home game against the Denver Nuggets has not been verified, but he should be considered probable for now. The same cannot be said Aldridge’s backup Thomas Robinson (patella strain). Robinson was unable to take part in today’s practice and should be […]LaMarcus Aldridge, Thomas Robinson Injury Update - Rip City Project - Rip City Project - A Portland Trailblazers Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and More

MIAMI — It has been quite the season for Jimmy Butler, one he’d like to forget. Not so much because of the on-court stuff, but the injuries that have kept him off it. After suffering a bruise to the right side of his ribs in the victory Friday against the Nuggets, Butler was held out of the game against the Heat and was questionable for the road game Tuesday against the Hawks. It was the 14th game Butler has missed, and that’s a number he’s not real proud...
CHICAGO — Twice this season the Nuggets have had a winning streak of five or more games.
This is more than just a five-game winning streak for the Bulls. It’s an awakening. An offense that had been last in the league at 92.3 points per game is averaging 99 points during the streak. A defense that had been inconsistent is holding opponents to 85.6 points per game since the road victory Feb. 9 against the Los Angeles Lakers. After all the doom and gloom that accompanied the team since the season-ending injury to Derrick Rose and the trade of Luol Deng,...
MILWAUKEE —- Nuggets center JaVale McGee underwent surgery Thursday morning and will be out for the rest of the season.
No Nuggets player needs the All-Star break more than guard Randy Foye. He simply gutted out the last two games on the team’s recent road trip, and probably shouldn’t have been playing in Minnesota on Wednesday night due to a bad ankle injury in addition to a hamstring ailment. His hope is he didn’t do […]
DETROIT —The cruelest trick the basketball gods are attempting to play on the Nuggets is convincing them they have seen enough to make real, informed roster decisions right now.
Pistons forward Josh Smith turned his right ankle in the fourth quarter of Friday's win over Brooklyn and didn't finish the game, leaving the possibility of the first game lost to injury for the team's jumbo front line tonight.
