Phillies need to get more out of their starting rotation

While they are on their way to a playoff spot, the 2019 Phillies need more pitching to improve their roster heading into the back half of the season. In hindsight, the Phillies should have known the rotation could quickly become a repetitive issue. This weekend’s frustrating series loss to the Braves in Atlanta showed the Phils’ desperate need for starting pitching, and there are other areas of the team could use an upgrade as well. There may not be any way for the Phillies to fix all their problems. If Aaron Nola and Jake Arrieta don’t become a stabilizing force at the top of the rotation, the 2019...
