Did the Cowboys just repeat the worst trade in franchise history?

Did the Cowboys just repeat the worst trade in franchise history?

No. Well, probably not. So, apparently the Cowboys have an itch to scratch every ten years or so. Monday the team traded the team’s 2019 first-round draft pick to the Oakland Raiders for wide receiver Amari Cooper. This comes exactly ten years and eight days after the team sent future first-, third- and sixth-round draft picks to the Detroit Lions for wide receiver Roy Williams. That trade came eight and a half years after the team sent two first-round draft picks to the Seattle Seahawks for wide receiver Joey Galloway. Cowboy fans are desperately hoping this version turns out better...

Jason Garrett on Cowboys' two museum visits in Washington, D.C.: 'Guys really got a lot of out of it; They were inspired by it.'

FRISCO - Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said the team's two museum stops Sunday and Monday in Washington, D.C., were a "great experience."The Cowboys had dinner at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History on Sunday night after their loss against the Redskins. Instead of flying home after the game as they usually do, they stayed another night to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture on Monday morning.Garrett said the Cowboys spent about 2½ hours at the National Museum of African American History and Culture and also posed for a team picture near the Lincoln...

Report: Randy Gregory had scope on knee, hopeful to play against Titans in Week 9

Report: Randy Gregory had scope on knee, hopeful to play against Titans in Week 9

The bye week helps Randy Gregory after minor surgery. It’s the bye week for the Dallas Cowboys which means there’s no game this week and there’s all the more time to get healthy in preparation for their next contest. This extra time is going to be necessary for defensive end Randy Gregory who underwent a knee scope on Tuesday afternoon. Randy has played in six of the Cowboys’ seven games this season (missed Giants in Week 2) which was long thought to be an impossibility when he was dealing with issues off of the field. If he was going to have his knee scoped now is obviously the...

Here's how Cowboys really feel about snap infraction called against L.P. LaDouceur

FRISCO -- The Cowboys have reviewed the false start call against L.P. LaDouceur at the end of Sunday's loss in Washington. They strongly believe the team's long snapper did nothing wrong on the play.Dallas sent that play, along with several others, into the league office this week to be reviewed."We'll see what they say on those," head coach Jason Garrett said Tuesday. "We just want to handle it the right way and see what their thinking was on those plays."Garrett said there was no difference in how LaDouceur snapped the ball on Brett Maher's field-goal try earlier in the fourth quarter."LP...
