Fire eliminated from USOC play

The Fire lost yet another US Open Cup semifinal in crushing fashion. The Philadelphia Union walked away with a 3-0 victory to advance to the final against the Houston Dynamo in September. Cory Burke scored in the 60th and 78th minutes to take control of the match and CJ Sapong added an 86th minute tally to ice it.
