The Royals have announced three exhibition games in the week leading up to the start of the regular season, hosting the Houston Astros and visiting the Cardinals in St. Louis. The Royals will take on the Astros at Kauffman Stadium on Monday, July 20 at 7:05, and Tuesday, July 21 at 1:05 in the afternoon. For starters, Kansas City finished 75-87. It was only the fourth time a post-strike Royals team finished with that many wins and that mark wouldn’t be surpassed again until 2013.
