Royals to bring back powder blue pants on Opening Day

Royals to bring back powder blue pants on Opening Day

Photo by Owen C. Shaw/ Go full retro! Everything old is new again. The Royals announced they are bringing back powder blue pants for Opening Day. They brought back powder blue uniforms several years ago, but still went with white pants in a mish-mash of old and new that just didn’t seem to satisfy my retro yearnings. Now, it looks like the Royals are going full-tilt with the retro look, going with the powder blue uniforms they wore on the road from the late-70s through the early-90s. We heard you. pic.twitter.com/HK0bkZ5xPM— Kansas City Royals (@Royals) February...

When I think of a GM being transactional, the main three areas I tend to focus on are trades, free...

What is the trade market like for Scott Barlow?

What is the trade market like for Scott Barlow?

Photo by Jamie Squire/ Could the reliever be on the move? J.J. Picollo had admitted this off-season that the team is looking toward 2024 and beyond to build a contender. He backed that up with a pair of trades last month to open up playing time for young players, sending infielder Adalberto Mondesi to Boston and outfielder Michael A. Taylor to Minnesota. With the signing of Aroldis Chapman in the bullpen, could the Royals be looking to move Scott Barlow as well? The general manager told reporters upon the Chapman signing that “Scott Barlow is our closer,” but if the...
