Warriors catch fire in Shanghai, beat Wolves 142-110

Splash Brothers got to splashin’ in Shanghai. When Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and the Warriors catch fire from deep, there isn’t much any NBA team can do to contain them. The Splash Brothers got to doing what they do best early Sunday morning to ensure the Warriors wouldn’t make the long trip back to the bay winless in China. Curry caught fire in Shanghai, scoring 40 points in only three quarters of play, to lead the Warriors to the 142-110 blowout victory in the second, and final, exhibition contest of the NBA China Games. The Force was with the Rapids Saturday night for their first home win in three months

It was Star Wars Night at Dick's Sporting Goods Park Saturday, but the plot that unfolded on the field was even more bizarre than the Cantina Scene in Star Wars Episode IV. Both teams played a man down for most of the match and the Rapids won their first home game since July when second-half substitute Alan Gordon tallied in the 81st minute to give his team a 2-1 victory.

Jimmy Butler Is Ready to Lead the Wolves

MINNEAPOLIS — When Jimmy Butler was last in Minnesota to chat with the media during his introductory press conference at Mall of America, the two-way superstar gave his phone number out for critics to contact him directly if they had any lasting beef. It was a multi-layered statement that put his self-confidence on display, along with the bitterness that comes with any breakup, and the desire to get a little payback on his dysfunctional old franchise. Butler made another statement Friday afternoon during Media Day...

According to Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune, point guard Aaron Brooks is expected to sign with the team before training camp opens up this Saturday in San Diego. Darren Wolfson of KSTP and 1500ESPN also hinted at this acquisition happening last night. Expect an Aaron Brooks' signing by camp opening, it likely will be only one they'll make for now— Jerry Zgoda (@JerryZgoda) September 21, 2017 This still holds true from last night. Look for it to happen and for him to be on the...
