BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Josh Gordon has declared himself "clean and sober" as he embarks on yet another new start with the Cleveland Browns. Gordon spoke about a fresh beginning on Wednesday, one week after NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell conditionally reinstated the oft-suspended former Pro Bowl wide receiver who recently said he never played in a game without drinking or taking drugs beforehand. Looking trim, the 26-year-old, who hasn't played since the end of the 2014 season, refused to provide any specifics about his alcohol or drug usage. Instead, he chose to focus on his future and said his...

He added "a bunch of guys smoke weed before the game." Gordon said he was under the influence "every game. Probably every game of my career." Browns rookie Garrett has concussion, could miss London trip

BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Myles Garrett could miss Cleveland's trip to London because of a concussion. The top overall pick in this year's NFL draft was placed in concussion protocol on Tuesday after arriving at the team's facility with concussion-like symptoms. Because of the timing, it's unlikely the defensive end will play in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings at Wickenham Stadium. Garrett is not under any travel restrictions, and it's possible he'll fly with the team if he can clear concussion protocol following practice on Thursday. The injury is another setback for Garrett, who...

CLEVELAND (AP) — The Browns' iron man was forced from the field. Joe Thomas, who has been the one thing Cleveland could count on during a decade of losing, missed the first play of his 11-year NFL career on Sunday with an injured left triceps.
