There’s no reason to expect improvement in Ravens offense because we have never seen consistency

There’s no reason to expect improvement in Ravens offense because we have never seen consistency

The issues regarding the Ravens offense doesn’t start with Joe Flacco because this team has a long history of lagging on that side of the ball. Year after year we continue to tell ourselves that the Baltimore Ravens will have an offense that is efficient and can carry its own weight. We tell ourselves that we won’t have to worry about a single penalty killing a potential scoring drive and we won’t have to worry about an offense having consecutive three and outs on a consistent basis. Everyone who follows this team has said that to themselves at one point or another. But I and others...

Chances are that LB Kamalei Correa has to grow fast in the Ravens defense

Chances are that LB Kamalei Correa has to grow fast in the Ravens defense

With the unfortunate retirement of Baltimore Ravens All-Pro inside linebacker Zach Orr, there is an immediate vacancy at the starting inside linebacker position opposite C.J. Mosley and linebacker Kamalei Correa has to fill that void. People can debate whether or not Correa is ready for a starting role on the Ravens defense because he didn’t get a lot of snaps last year. But at the end of the day, the Ravens saw something in Correa that made the team use a second round pick on him in the 2016 NFL Draft. Early on last offseason after the draft, the Ravens were experimenting with Correa...

Ravens shouldn’t spend too much money re-signing its own unrestricted free agents in offseason

Ravens shouldn’t spend too much money re-signing its own unrestricted free agents in offseason

The Ravens went 8-8 in 2016 for a reason. When you look at the Baltimore Ravens unrestricted free agent list, the four players who stand out are NT Brandon Williams, RT Rick Wagner, FB Kyle Juszczyk and CB Jarraud Powers. Would it be wise for the Ravens to re-sign all of them? It depends if they are the right player at the right price as the Ravens always say. But when push comes to shove, it is probably not a good idea for the Ravens to invest too much money in re-signing its unrestricted free agents. First off, when you look at Williams, he is probably the most underrated defensive...

Ravens will play the Jaguars in London during the 2017 season

The Baltimore Ravens during the 2017 regular season will not only play its first game outside of the United States, but in London as the team is scheduled to play the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 24th at Wembley Stadium. The Ravens will be the road team and the Jaguars will be listed as the home team. The Ravens can’t lose any home games at M&T Bank Stadium due to the contract it has with the Maryland Stadium Authority. The matchup between the Ravens and Jaguars will also be the third one in three years with both teams winning on the road including a 19-17 victory by the Ravens in...

No, the Ravens did not try to talk Zach Orr out of retiring

No, the Ravens did not try to talk Zach Orr out of retiring

The Baltimore Ravens press conference this morning as we all know announced the retirement of Zachary Orr who is retiring due to a congenital neck/spine condition that has impacted him since his birth. Orr really wants to play, but as he said, he can’t pass a physical. He’s putting his health first as he should and the Ravens are 100 percent behind him. That goes against what was being reported or at the very least hinted earlier this morning as to how the Ravens felt about Orr retiring. #Ravens star LB Zach Orr is retiring because of a serious injury, sources say. Heart-breaking....
